Rest in peace Mrs. Sushma Swaraj _/\_

Deeply saddened to hear the demise of Mrs. Sushma Swaraj. Another gem gone from this world and a very huge loss to INDIAN politics.

Mrs. Swaraj was one of the most loved politicians of INDIA, A superwoman without a cape. She was highy educated, down to earth, selfless, sincere and an honest woman, A very rare trait among our politicians. With an interest in classical music, poetry, fine arts and drama, Mrs. Swaraj was definitely an all-rounder. Mrs. Swaraj entered politics at a very young age and had many firsts during her political career. She became the youngest ever cabinet minister at the age of 25 and was decorated with many awards during her political career, one of them being the first and only female MP to be honoured with the outstanding parliamentarian award.

In a male dominated establishment where many women go unnoticed, she lead from the front and set an example for the many. She was a truly humble person and an excellent orator. Her speech at U.N against terrorism was a great display of her command and temperament. Although she represented a hardline party, she never discriminated among anybody. Even the opposition leaders admired her because of her personality and her friendly nature. When she became the External affairs minister, the ministry was far beyond the reach of a common person. This was the last government office any person would expect to be in direct touch with. She however, went against the trend and made it accessible for every person to approach her. This is one of her biggest achievements, something that would be very hard to replicate. She won many hearts not just in INDIA but even abroad. She helped many INDIANS in distress in any part of the world. She was a just a tweet away and would always respond to your messages and concerns. She made good use of technology to connect to the masses. She brought the government to the people. I have never seen an INDIAN minister so readily available to address the grievances of the people. Most of the times we see celebrities or politicians hurling abuses at each other online but Mrs. Swaraj refrained from such comments.

Mrs. Sushma Swaraj was a good human being and dedicated her life to the service of the people. I really wanted to see her as the next president of INDIA. She would have done perfect justice to that position. I am pretty sure she'll be addressing our issues from Heaven.

There's a quote that I always say. " Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it's inspiring. " Mrs. Swaraj's life is a perfect example of this and I am pretty sure her life and her work will continue to inspire people over many generations.

People like her come once in a lifetime. Not many politicians sitting in Delhi touch the lives of common men like she did. Her hard work and her contribution to the country will always be remembered.
